I would say poker is gambling as you have the potential to lose money.
Skilled players can therefore gain an edge and make money from it.
But is it a sport? It has similar aspects like strategy and you do burn more calories playing a strategic game rather than sitting doing nothing so maybe it is but not as a traditional considered sport game which is physical.
