began to read the book the art of war by the Chinese commander Sun-za.
here are some principles, see how it suits poker.
1. To win, you should know both the enemy and yourself

2. Anger is a bad start
3. Winning strategies are never repeated

4.the art of the general is that no one knows what he is thinking
5.the master chooses a position where defeat is impossible

This is a nice approach dear mate, keep on reading books.

1- in poker this is paramount, a golden rule
2- anger is tilt, our worst enemy at the tables
4- if your opponents know the way you play, they are dominating your thoughts and reading your mind, turning you into an easy prey at the tables
5- we must use the power of position at poker tables

Do you see? Sun-Tzu was a skillful poker player!!! :ROFLMAO:

There are other books helpful to take care of our mind and seek for the inner power:

Niccolo Machiavelli: The Prince

Robert Greene: The 48 Laws of Power

Cheers!

I didn’t write about war, but about strategy. I live in Ukraine and I know what war is. No victory is worth the tears of old people, the crying of children and the grief of killed comrades .

Love is the answer my friend.
Love is the sole force that builds up this world of chaos.
Love is the key, a human loving not the love of passion and selfishness that seeks to control one’s body and mind!
I love poker, chess, movies, writing, also I love my friends and mates here at CardsChat, a growing and respectful place for all of those who love and are able to learn!

an evil person, having read something, become even more angry, a sad person became even more saddened, and a loving person will fill everything around with love. We evaluate the world through what is in our heart
