Hi Everyone I use PT3 to analyze my play at pokerstars. When I auto rated the players my player category was "A Bomb" Semi loose passive/aggressive. But today after playing a few hands with really loose players at one table it is changed to a "Smiling Face" which is semi loose, aggressive/aggressive.
Which one is better to be a bomb or a simily?

A lot of people would tell you the smiley is better. That's because they preach (or have heard and blindly follow) rasing most of your vpip hands. Generally pfr/vpip >= .66 is the guideline.

That's fine and all, but I'd say neither is better. There isn't this one game everyone should try to play to win. How to play optimally really depends on your table. If players are limping, taking flops, not folding to raises preflop, stick around postflop, then you shouldn't be raising that much. Try to take cheap flops to break people with, as they often can't get away from weak holdings they incorrectly perceive as strong.

On the other hand if you have limpers that will take flops, then go away when you cbet, you better be bumping up the hands you play. Isolate all day, and take down pots with cbets. You should be very aggressive in terms of PFR/VPIP, because now that's a profitable strategy. So already, there are 2 scenarios in which one of these strategies is better than the other.

"tight aggressive" seems to work best for me....especially in sit and goes...which i would say is my favorite for making money
