For me I don't believe it was effective despite of my principle, I just follow order of my boss..Let me share also what I feel while I'm playing that tournament, day 1 level 15..I was the shortest stack with 1 BB left, I'm card dead and thought that praying wasn't too effective but I'm still alive then I got KJ hearts thought it was my last hand UTG position and shove and just got 1 caller the big blind duty calls with K5o..flop is K,8,5 with one heart and runner runner hearts lol..next I'm the BB with JJ against AK and double up again.
Got 3 hits in a row I'm SB with QQ again against JJ then I got a big pot and qualify into final day.
I know it's part of poker any possible variance to be expected but the faith I've been done of holding on until the last 1BB because your thinking you will not gonna lose or bust out in the tourney because you believe there's something happen good in your game upon prayer.But my father said it just to be happen, what do you think about other players who lose and busted out, you think all of them didn't pray?
