Praying to God before playing poker

Have you been try to pray before playing poker? Just wanna hear your thoughts guys about this..I saw some they also do crucifix sign.

You can not meddle with God in the cards. It is possible to pray for a sober mind, a cold blood, but not as luck in cards.

One time in the live main event $60,000 gtd. Before I begin to play in day 1 my staker told me to go aa to Church before playing, then I follow my boss of course..So far I played more 10times+ main event with huge buy-in, that was my first time to qualify on final day and my first time to get ITM in the big event as well. Just share my experience about praying before playing poker

For me I don't believe it was effective despite of my principle, I just follow order of my boss..Let me share also what I feel while I'm playing that tournament, day 1 level 15..I was the shortest stack with 1 BB left, I'm card dead and thought that praying wasn't too effective but I'm still alive then I got KJ hearts thought it was my last hand UTG position and shove and just got 1 caller the big blind duty calls with K5o..flop is K,8,5 with one heart and runner runner hearts lol..next I'm the BB with JJ against AK and double up again.
Got 3 hits in a row I'm SB with QQ again against JJ then I got a big pot and qualify into final day.
I know it's part of poker any possible variance to be expected but the faith I've been done of holding on until the last 1BB because your thinking you will not gonna lose or bust out in the tourney because you believe there's something happen good in your game upon prayer.But my father said it just to be happen, what do you think about other players who lose and busted out, you think all of them didn't pray?

In some religions playing poker is a very big sin, so is hard to pray before comiting a sin, seem like having aces and make the fold

I believe in a Goddess that is like a poker RNG. It does have the ability to prefer some people to others (it prefers determined people to cowards and will alter fate at times to assist the strong-willed) but not a God who you just pray to and immediately gives what you want.

Goddess RNG is someone who you don't pray to but rather you talk to and need to hear her back. She gives clues, from repeating numbers to strange combination of "coincidences" that only will make sense to you and which you will think you're going crazy for interpreting the correct way.

Don't fear being insane, fear being a loser for life. Fate helps the strong-willed but is unbiased until you prove that willpower.

I do not think you should involve God in any kind of game, God has more important thing than you win or not in a game. my opinion
