I don't know of a book or article about favorite hands, but there is a book called The Best Hand I Ever Played by Steve Rosenbloom of ESPN who interviewed 52 of the top pros.

I'm pretty sure Helmuths fave hand is 9c9s.. the hand he won his wsop ME title against Johnny Chan with.

My fave hand is 63 suited... that or rockets

A9 is Jesus' favourite hand cos he won the Main Event with it back in 2000.

Not really a favorite but J-4os has become my 10-2 in my monthly home game.

Was shortstacked and decided to go all in with any two cards and was called by pocket K's. Hit a Jack on the flop and a 4 on the turn to beat the Kings and now everyone in the monthly game refers to it as my hand.

Have to play it once a game just for fun!
