Question about HUDs

Are HUDs mainly for multi tabling? If I usually never play more than 4 tables and can actually focus on all 4, is it necessary to use a HUD? I've always been interested in using one, but confused on what all the numbers mean so I have never really gave it a chance.

Search the forums for HUD...AbsolutHamm did an amazing detailed breakdown of them. single handedly taught me what i knew about HUDs

I'd have to say HUDS are very handy for multi table playing. But for single table there not really needed.

Once someone has gotten so use to playing with a HUD, can they still play correctly without it? Or are they pretty much just lost now?
