I can't believe this, he was 56. Doyle Brunson called him the best 7 card stud player he had ever seen.

The loss of Chip kind of reminds me of when Payne Stewart the golfer passed away. A legendary player who had a couple of titles under his belt, and loved by millions.

Poker has lost a great player and champion. Very sad.

Yeah but the people who know what they're talking about know who Chip Reese is and know that Jamie Gold is so far under his league that they were not even playing the same game. R.I.P Chip the poker world knows how how talented you were.

He seemed to be one of the true class acts of the game as well as one of the best.

Too bad winning the HORSE Championship ended up being his crowning achievement, I was looking forward to a few more.

Today, with the devestating news of Chips passing, every one of us has lost something.
In the Worldwide family of poker, our favourite uncle has gone. I'm sure each of us offers our deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and friends but can offer some comfort in the genuine sentiment that he touched the lives of millions.
