Recession, what recession?

Just watched Daniel Negreanu in Las Vegas; he's playing in a $1500 Omaha Hi/Lo and has a $25,000 no limit hold 'em lined up. Record turn outs are expected. And there are people sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles. Unreal.

Guess I must be. I think it's obscene, but that's just me.

Maybe there will be no recession, but if it happens, I am afraid that it will turn into the greatest depression in human history because of the enormous mountain of debt, both households' and government.

I have to agree, its totally obscene. At the top level of every walk of life, the obscenity of it is pretty stark. BUT we just get used to seeing the numbers and it becomes normal, and we all strive to get there, instead of calling it out.

Which is exactly what we are supposed to do!

What if we didn't....would it all be worse or better?

Some people work hard to get to where they are today. I worked for a roofing company in the 1990's as an office manager. The boss who was a friend of mine also, started with just him and one worker. Before he died from a heart attack it was a million dollar a year company.

If someone works their ass off to get where they are today, more power to them.

Lol you shouldnt think that there is no recessioj because only 1 guy.Good economy is when if you choose 100 people 98 have happy life with enought money no when only Danijel makes money and 99 people lose money and not making enought money from their job.Everybody should be paid normal or country is going to bankrupt because people are not happy.Also because they dont protedt enought and they dont care most countriee sre going to bankrupt and that is sad.Country where only 10-20% population is making normal amount of money and others are poor dont deserve to exist ot must bankrupt to create new normal country or people should start to protest and fight for normal life.
