It is something personal, I have seen opinions that some are distracted, others find it works, and not necessarily the style of music you mention, for me listening to music that I like of any style helps me to be more lightened and cope well with bad beats

It depends on each one, some like to be completely quiet, others listen to music, everyone has their own style in terms of concentrating on the game, sometimes I play better when watching a movie and do not know what happens at the table , I just make quick decisions without thinking about what kind of player the opponent is and I often feel good about it.

Sometimes I turn on music while I play. I listen to a variety of music. Mostly it is rock, folk or electronic music. I haven't noticed that for playing poker, one genre of music is better than another.

I personally enjoy listening to music while playing. Though sometimes when things start to go bad, I need to shut the music off and buckle down.

Yes, music is important to me when playing poker. I prefer to listen to classical music in a modern arrangement. And no songs. Words are more distracting and dissipate attention to the game.

Usually I play without music, but when the downstreak starts, I can turn on some music. I think that music helps reduce stress level.

I tend to have some background noise going but doesn't really matter what. Sports game or race is great for me as long as it's not something too distracting. I do find listening to music that generally makes me happy keeps my attitude more positive while playing too.

During the game, many players prefer to listen to their favorite music, it helps to relax and focus on the game in a more positive way. We can safely say that among professional poker players, music in the style of House, Chill, Trance and just ordinary DJ sets prevail. It really depends how I feel at that moment. Occasionally music feels right while Im playing poker but most times I just like it silent. Just me and the sound of chips tinkling about online. Though music plays a huge part in other areas of my life to help relax or energize. My favourite times to listen to music is while Im driving, exercising, cleaning or cooking. I may not be very good but I love singing and dancing too.

I prefer classical music. I've been playing poker for over 10 years and I almost always listen to classical music while playing. Personally, it's just hard for me to play without music.

I love different music but it all depends on my mood. Now I listen to Space Scenes Deep Relaxation. This is the kind of music that allows me to stay focused now.
