Poker is a game that does not exist with a person playing alone. Regardless of whether you lost or won, don't disrespect your opponent. Do not do to others what you would not like them to do to you.:D

Hi friend.

I absolutely agree with your proposal and wish. I am convinced that there are as many rude people in poker as there are in life itself, but I have also met, both in real life and in our beloved sport, many respectful and empathetic people.
"Treat others the way you want them to treat you" should be written on the walls of all teaching places.

Kind regards from Buenos Aires.

I confirm poker is a game where you also have to know how to lose with class and accept your fate.

Hello. I agree with most others. Chat to anger or disrupt another's concentration, is not needed to win. So why go there?

Respecting others is respecting yourself, you can even make new friends by being cordial. Better to focus on the game and hand analysis and keep your balance. So take advantage of every situation.
Greetings friends

totally agree ... I am a player who respects all my opponents ... whether I am a good player or a bad player ... they all deserve respect ... and it bothers me a lot when I see other players insulting their opponents or the site

I don't understand why Tony G. gets invited to play, watching him is annoying.

1. It is NOT just a game. This is war.
2. There is no need to be nice to opponents - you dont just complimate your enemy.
3. I certainly try to do that to others without fearing them doing it to me (knocking out eachother) ...

I dont usually say a word on poker table even if I'm getting insulted for the way I play. So when it comes to respect, I don't know if it applies to me just my opinion so I ignore other people commentating of me.

I do not know English and can only assume that they write in the chat. I am little interested in what they write there. Therefore, I do not answer anyone and write nothing.

Hi!

I think the only thing worse than this respect is saying that they love you at the table :) If someone hears that they love you at the table, they should escape from it because there is a good chance that they are the fish at the table. :)

Respect  your opponent this is clear but if you don’t win someone’s chips (because you don’t want your chips to win either of you) then we would just push the dealer button around indefinitely.
So respect is very important (in all areas of life as well), but poker is the kind of game that you want to win the chips of others (they’re yours).
Of course, this should be done culturally and not arrogantly and disparagingly.
So respect to everyone (but I want your chips :bandit:)!

I agree that politeness is very important, but in the game the most important thing is to win! And I think you can use techniques that will take your opponent out of their comfort zone, this will give you some advantage!

Unfortunately there are many people who do not know how to be good losers just as many do not know how to be good winners.

Treating Others with Respect

That is the professional attitude. Everyone should respect each other...Now if someone could just tell Phil Helmuth.

I agree totally with the golden rule. It is easy to be respectful while continuing to play poker however you need to win. Another very easy rule “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. Easy, peasy - because I don’t usually say anything in chat while playing poker, except gg, gl or nh or send a trophy to the person with the great hand that just beat me. A little kindness goes along ways.

to be honest if i could bluff all my opponents all the time i would this has nothing to do with respects it has to do with strengths and weaknesses. poker isn't meant to be fair knowing when to continue and when to give up is important

sometimes players believe everyone is trying to bluff them lol

As you gain information about a certain someone, you'll get a better idea/guess which will help you better them. As a general rule not only in poker but, in life too, never and never underestimate anyone at first. I've seen many people including myself underestimating a person or a situation and get the bad reality check either later on or instantly.

Every poker player, regardless of his experience and skills, deserves respect. And although I do not usually pay attention to conversations during the game, I also think that any insults are unacceptable.
