Role of Table Captain

Do you ever take the role of table captain in a game?


And if so, how long did it last before push-back from the other players ?

You have to do it sometimes if the table is very passive and they are afraid to fight back. Needless to say that it is a must when you have the chip lead because you keep gathering all the dead money in the middle.

At some point they will start to fight back by 3betting or shoving against you but they will never know when you hold a strong starting hand. It may last for an orbit if you open raise any two.
