Royals are an odd phenomenon. The last time someone posted about royals, I had had one that day and posted the screen grab.

I am not sure how many I have had now becuase I got my first within a month of playing and then expected them with some regularity.

But the fact is I do hit them quite often. Some weeks ago I got yet another (holdem with hearts) and a few days ago my latest (PLO with spades).

I think I am now closing in on around 10, but the first several I took for granted and kept no record.

I have received Royal Flush many times over the years, seriously i don't even know how many times anymore. Also a few weeks ago or the previous week at the CC freeroll. Unfortunately, I no longer know which tournament

I think that I had a Royal Flush only once on a river, but didn't get much out of it because everyone folded.

I have had a couple of royal flushes and a couple more sraight flushes. I wish they happened at more critical times in events and that theey happened to me more often.

Two days ago I had 2 royal flushes within an hour of each other! :O. I guarantee you that will never happen again. Usually I get 2 or three a year.

A Royal Flush may be as rare as Unicorn's do-do, but I have made a few Royal Flushes over the last twenty years, the hardest part is making them pay, sometimes if you bet out with 3 suited cards on the Flop they already may suspect you of having a Flush anyway, so will fold.
The best way to play them is to check and hope someone else has a Flush draw or made their straight and is willing to put money into a pot they cannot possibly win.
I find most Royals hit you when you play hands like K/J, or Q/10 or K/10 I have never made one holding an A/K funnily enough, but that is probably because I hate Big Slick! even when it is suited, (just a pet hate).
It is difficult for many players to throw away three of a kind even when they are holding Pocket Aces if the flop comes A/Q/J/ suited and you are sat playing K/10 of the same suit, but you do get some of them folding.
I once made a full house with pocket Kings and was hoping my opponent was holding a Flush, unfortunately for me he was, The Royal type of Flush. but hey! That's Poker!

The probability of making a royal flush in poker is 1 in 649,740. I collected 2 times for the entire time of the game.

i got my first royal flush the other day, just too bad everyone folded when i bet. and it wasnt a crazy bet either. would of been nice if someone else had a strong hand to call me

Turned the nut flush and got the Royal on the river..sweet.
sometimes you have to keep it low so everyone does not fold...
