I was recently playing a micro on 888 and won,also spiked a royal flush on this run.my question,since the odds of spiking a royal are astronomical shouldn't there automatically be a bonus or prize on every poker site?

Nope..not as astronomical as you might think given the online traffic. Consider speed of the hands dealt, blind level timing...many more hands than in a live game. The only place to cash in is if you play the bad beat jackpot games online. Live, there are more than a few poker rooms that pay a bonus when you get a hand like this (Royal, quads like 2222..) at showdown.

Yeah I think every site should give at least a small bonus. They don't seem to care what I think though. I know bodog used to give one. That's now bovada or ignition so maybe they still do it. I don't know about any legal and regulated sites.

Typically hit a Royal Flush once a year but it depends on how many hands I grind through in that time period. Plenty of Quads and no big deal to hit a straight flush but Royals can be difficult to hit.

Royal flush seems to me some kind of impossible thing, I never had the opportunity to collect it, about some kind of prize or bonus would be very cool, poker room owners should think about it

Such a prize is not provided in a regular cash game or tournaments, but I once saw something like this at GGPoker in an all-in or fold game. They give a jackpot for straight flushes.

I believe that having a royal flush is enough reward. The joy of it is also worth something. In addition, you have definitely won the pot.

When I first started playing at a live club they had jackpots for straight and royal flushes at the cash tables and I won a couple of times. At GGPoker there are bonuses in cash games and all-in or fold, I've made straight flushes and royal flushes and won the jackpot a few times. On other sites I usually play there is no bonus but I've hit it a few times in cash games and tournaments.

I think that I will not get even 1 time in my life royal flush for me that is too hard I am not that lucky to get that cards it looks really like a impossible for me I am not sure how even 1 time I didnt got any of it I hope that I will get it this year at least once because this year I play everyday poker without stopping.

Iv'e hit a few over the years. But it is really hard to get paid as it is unlikely for your opponent to have anything to call you down with.

I do agree, that sites should have some kind of bonus, i understand there are probably quite a few Royals hit, especially on sites with lots of traffic. But even possibly a ticket to a monthly freeroll or a satellite ticket.

I think playing pairs are better than playing suited Broadways. Sets have a better probability of getting paid compared to straights/flushes or straight flushes

Don't think so .if they do it then you have to pay each run a small amount .it will be like a pot or jackpot

I only had made straight flushs never a royal, but I think that would be cool some bonus, but what I like the most is winning with hero calls. Feels so good to call with the lower pair in the table knowing that the villain all in was a bluff!

Have made 4 royal flushes with both whole cards playing.
First was K/Q of spades, in a casino, made the royal on the turn with the jack of spades coming up, small pot, remember betting 50$ on the river to have the opponent tank and then call. Only learned after, if he woulda folded, I would have missed out on the 500$ royal flush bonus the casino was offering
Second was PLO on PS and made a royal of hearts on the river, again small pot, didn’t make much, no bonus.
Third was in tournament on PS where I made a royal or hearts with A/10. Turned it with the king of hearts. Doubled my stack cause opponent had lower flush.
And fourth was another PLO on PS and made a club royal with J/Q and rivered an Ace.

U wanna hear the bad part? I have played in the casinos almost every weekend since i was 24 in 2006 and didn’t make a royal till 2016. Since covid has started and made me play online, I have seen 3 in 1.5yrs....makes me a firm believer that RNG are nothing compared to a deck of cards.

It would be nice if there would be some kind of prize for a given combination, since only this year I already had 3 Royal flushes and for the entire time of the game about 12-13 times !!!

Hi.
I think if you play 4 or more tables at the same time, the chance of getting this combination just increases 4 times. I'm certainly not against bonuses, but the probability that such a reward system will be adopted is actually astronomical.

It is unlikely that such a prize or bonus system will be implemented. There are a lot of nuances to consider, so I don't think poker sites will consider such an innovation.

Probably once a year it falls either to very lucky or super grinders, I have been playing for about 4 years and have never seen it yet.
