Is it just me or those types of beats, are the worst kind?
Most frustrating and annoying.

But again if you win that way you're like this: :D

What do you think about them?

I just come off a tourneament where I was currently 3rd out of 248. I flop a set of jacks. I bet the flop and the turn. The guy goes allin on the turn with a pair of fours and a flush draw. He hits his flush to chop me in half. Five hands later I flop a set of 7's. Bet half my stack and another guy goes over the top with a straight draw. I call and get knocked out in 237? spot. What a drag. Talk about screaming and pulling my hair out I couldn't believe the bad luck.

Sucks but still just another part of poker. Even a 980 to 1 shot is still a shot and will come in.

yeah, last niht i had 77 in the hole. I made a small pre-flop raise and got one caller. The flop was 397. I check, hoping to truap the other guy, and he goes all in. SOOOOOO, of course i call. He has 10 10. I have him smashed!!!!! So here comes the turn..... its an 8. Ok, right now im pissed, cuz he just picked up 8 more outs. The river........... JACK!!!! I meant wtf???? That is horse shit. And to make it worse, it didnt put me out, it left me with 30 chips. and the blinds were 15/30.

Sometimes you play your hand right and still get beat.
There's a guy at my weekly poker table who will sometimes try to draw when he only has 4 outs or less.
And guess what? sometimes he'll get it. :)
As long as you keep playing right on the long run you have nothing to worry about.

Those are the ones I feel best about. Don't even blink. How can I fault my play if I only lost a hand because something incredibly improbable happened?

You just gotta look past em and play your game. I've had so many of them that I just chuckle and look past em in about 5-10 seconds. Part of the game and if you want to continue playing this game, will just ahve to learn to live with it.

I was playing on poker stars, Running deep in a tourney cant remember what tourney it was but i remember the hand perfect.
I was delt 4 2 nothing special but i was BB , noone bet or raised so i was able to see a free flop. Flop was 4 2 2 , Being short stack at the time i went all in. So i got one caller, Turning over A 8. I turned over my 4 2 and the game continued, turn coming up and A, and Rive an A.
So board was 4 2 2 A A, So this guy got runner runner full house to beat mine...Don't ya love poker lmao.

These drive me nuts and unfortunately with the number of hands you play in online poker, you see them more often than in real life.

Million to one shots are even better - they come in nine times out of ten AFAIK. Gotta be exactly a million though. A million and one doesn't work :p

Shouldn't this thread be in BBV, BTW?
