I do not use it, I wonder who has ever used it and saw it is not worth it, or who still uses it and how it is going.

I only use if I have double or triple buyin and my opponents has the same or more chips than me.

Wishing I Never Read This Thread

This is the first time I have even heard of it. You would have to put me down in the category of not being in favor of it. Why run it twice, or thrice even, to get a more "averaged" outcome. Maybe I just don't get it in the first place.

When playing live Ill do it in latge pots happily. No reason not to.

Okay. It is making more sense now that you put it in that context. Never crossed my mind, since I have never been in that type of situation. I can count on one hand the number of times I have played live and only made the money once.

It's basically a tool to reduce variance. Up to you if you like that or not :)

I think it adds a little more friendliness to the game. I would only do this in a high stakes game where I want the game to last.

at first I thought it is bad idea to use this since you win less if you are unlucky.

but I believe it is wise to open it.
because it reduces the variance.

see this AK VS AQ roughly 70%
you and villian play 10 pot every pot is rake 5%
if you two agree to run twice both
you have more chance [equal to run 20 times if you guys running twice] to get want you ought to get in the long run and with less rake paid, like 2.5%

so run twice always good.

I can't tell you the number of times "run it twice" saved me from losing all my money. I do however regret leaving it on when i was in the favour because it ended up being split pot when I should've won.

my advice is use the "run it twice" and see if you like it or not.
