We all know casinos are gone in Russia, but poker was thought to be exempt. Not so:

No way in Hell can the US site moral issues in Russia to back any anti-poker legislation.

Anyone in the US gov who now opposes decent poker legislation, and an opening up of internet poker will wear the stain of 'Commie'.......

I dont think there was ever a remote chance that the us would ban live poker in casinos though.

Bad overall tho, in that they ruled that poker is not a sport (skill) but is gambling -- will have bad repercussions in US and Europe online poker legislation????.

It's unfortunate but it's the truth. Poker is a game of luck with skilled involved and there's no denying it.

Still I don't think any form of gambling should be banned, absolute ridicolous, people should be able to spend their money on whatever they like.
