Sand Storm in Vegas today

I'm from 'Hurricane' country and have never experienced sand storms...till today when I got caught in one (and it's still going on even now...10+hrs after it began) today, in downtown Vegas. It is so bad, the satellite TV in my hotel is out; they have two types of connections here; one for TV (satellite) and DSL for internet. At least I can surf and play online poker. Kinda quiet in my room, tho. So, if you guys know any songs or anything, lets sing, ok?

Yeah - we have extreme wind warnings down here in AZ today too.

Wow - I was just there yesterday and everything was great -- upper 60's with some sun ...

It;s just a casino conspiracy to keep every one inside and gambling.

Storm is over, here, but it went from beautiful temps in the 70s to crummy temps in the 40s. I could have stayed home for that-LOL, and I would have saved a fortune, too!

I was quite surprised to see the video footage of the flash floods they had in Vegas, not what I would have expected for a town built in the desert... :trytofly:
