Well, Todd Brunson posted about Scotty's behavior over on 2+2. Basically, he said he'd been drinking all day an the tourney went so long Scotty was beyond drunk. He kept drinking because he knew he'd crash if he didn't.
That's not an excuse for his behavior of course. I was a huge Scotty fan before this and it really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. But I guess I have to wonder how I'd come off if someone showed up at one of my home games with a camera at 3 in the morning after I'd sucked down a case of beer. Of course, I'm not a former world champion playing in the most prestigious event in poker either.
It's really just a shame.
