Sexist live players

Ever get seated with a bunch of older jaded guys who joke about how much they hate their wives? It's pretty f*cking obnoxious.

yea it is not good. when I went to my friends house one day I just ignored it I have learned to have selective hearing. if I don't want to hear anything I don't and I could be right beside the people.:burnout:

Normally I play several tables at once, so I'm indifferent to discussing other players. I actually have no time to read the chat.

I have a good acquaintance with whom I play poker at my house, then he started saying that he has a bad wife and that she is angry with him because he spends more time with friends, I explained to him that she also wants to spend time with husband and take a walk and relax, they live near me, I see his wife on the street almost every day, and she is a -nice pleasant sociable girl, I do not understand what he says about bad, every woman wants more attention from man, - for fine when my side is next to me and when I I spend more time with my wife, now when he comes to me I tell him that he does not speak ill of his wife in my presence!

I almost never pay attention to talking at the table.
For me it is more important to use any convenient opportunity qualitatively and pick up the chips of my opponents.

Any time you can involve yourself into any conversation you should be able to pick up information regardless of the subject. People talking at a live table is a good thing from where I sit.

Okay. Time for a little tough love. Honestly, my first thought is what an emasculating thread. Water off a duck's back. Are you really that susceptible to other people's moods/conversations at the poker table to the point where it can get you down or throw you off? If so, I would suggest it's a 'you'' problem. Now, don't get me wrong, I happen to think that good cheer is important and a bit of a lost art these days. Still, you can't let other people bring you down so easily.

I've never been in such situations, I love my wife!)

What about me. I don't play live poker too. But I often hear such themes in a gym and from my classmates. I do not understand it. How? Why? WTF!?
