Shaking Hands

Ok. Is this allowed? Let's say Player A made a big bet after the river and it's up to Player B to act. Player B asks Player A to raise his arm and hand up to see if it shakes. Player A does it, unknowingly why. Player b looks for a couple of seconds, then folds. I was Player A a week ago and my hand shook. However, my hand shakes a bit when I hold it up regardless of the conditions. My question is, is this legal? If Player A refuses, he doesn't have to, right? Speaking of shaking hands, I think your hands will shake if you have a good hand or if you're bluffing. What's your take on this?

This is an hilarious one, if a player asked me to put my hand up in the air in the middle of a hand, i certainly know what id say in return, and it wouldnt be a very nice reply.

As for tell with shaking hands, its usually the sign of a VERY powerful hand, and usually the player is not bluffing. However more experienced players will use this knowledge to their advantage. As with all tells you need more to go on than just a minor tell like this, you need to combine how they played previous hands with information like the betting pattern of the hand, then you tell becomes much more useful.

What an odd request for someone to ask. I don't think you needed to show him your hands. If an opponent picks up a tell on you that's fine but it was like he was asking you "hey, show me if you are nervous". My hands shake all the time also so I suppose I'd look scared every hand I was in. I know you probably felt put on the spot and that's why you complied but next time tell him to decide based on the cards in his hands and not by your shake. Hell you could have Parkinson's for all he knows.

If Player A asked Player B to strip naked and dance the lambada on top of the table so he could get a read on him do you think he would have to do it?

No because the Lambada is the "forbidden dance".

not illegal to ask, but you for sure dont have to do it either. Of course i dont always see a shaking hand as a strong hand tell. Ive seen players in live tourney play whose hands shook a little when they were bluffing.

Of course in that situation i think i would have made my hand shake just because it would have made him fold

LMAO this is hillarious, no you don't have to do anything besides play cards. I was watching an episode of WPT and there was a hand between the Unibomber and a french guy. Well as most of you know when the Unibomber goes all in he pulls his hood down over his face and covers up so he doesn't give any tells away. So the french guy after thinking for a while takes his hand and puts it on the neck of the Unibomber to feel his pulse. Well to say the least the french guy made a huge lay down with AJ and the Unibomber took down the pot with AQ. I think that i would have cut the french guys hand off for putting his hands on me but the annoucers made a good point and asked each other if this move by the Unibomber should be legal or not because your suppose to be able to read your opponent and he doesn't let them do that. But what do yall think about the french guy feeling for the Unibombers pulse? Should that be illegal or not?

IMO you should never touch another player or their chips while at a table, dont know of any set rule stating this but i would see it as a violation of someones space.
