That depends on different variables: chipstack, cards or where we are in the tournament or if we're playing a cash game. Playing the role of fish or shark changes constantly.

When we enter a game, there is a desire to win. And to win we need to kill other participants. And that is the characteristic of a shark.
We start our game just like a shark. It is about survival, eat or be eaten.

I've been playing for quite a while, definitely trend towards a fish... Have the habit of playing well until reasonably well-set, then going off the rails. Am most at-risk when large-stacked, because of the false sense of security that I can sustain a few downturns in fortune, but as we know these can snowball really quickly! :smile::smile::smile:

Of course it depends. The funny thing is I did not see many people address the question in this way. Who am I playing against? This is why Poker is a great game. I can be a Shark in an online $2.00 buy-in tournament. In a $109 online mtt I begin trending towards Fishy, Put me in a SuperHigh Roller and I am a Whale.

Game selection is the most important thing in playing poker. You must be able to view yourself objectively, know what stakes you are a winning player, do you have the skill to sit online $1/2 ?? We see articles and vlogs about poker dying but as long as humans have ego's and really think they are better than they really are, there will be action. Good question, Thanks for asking it here.

Realistically I'm probably more fish than shark in terms of actual skill/knowledge. But compared to freeroll/micro stakes players that I play against closer to shark.

I am the 'Bait', throw out some line and catch the fish. Then use fish $$$ to catch the sharks.

Go fishing is a hobby , Make acquainting with small fishs firstly , do you go fishing every day ? when i was i child , i used to go fishing with my uncle , he taught me to be take fish well that can not lack of patient , discipline , eventually we will obtain a good consequence .
