Wish I could have gotten in via satellite, but that was not to be. Now I'm wondering whether to play in ME by fronting the $33.

1. It'd be fun, I've always wanted to play in a tournament like this that meant something. Deep stacks, other good players, etc.

2. I can spare the money, I just won $70 the other day from a marathon day (basically wanted to see if I could play for 12 hours in one day and succeeded, picking up 70 bucks in the process), but $33 is still a lot for me, and I'm not sure if I want to blow it in one tournament.

So knowing that the decision of the public is not binding, I'd like to know what you think. Is it worth it for me to play in this tournament?

lol, thanks, but actually that's the other factor I'm considering. With the talent in this event, and unless somehow 20+ more people join, only top 3 money. It'd sure be great to money, but I'm not expecting it. So I'm basically taking the approach that I'm spending $30 for the fun and experience of a deepstack tournament with quality friendly people.

A short while into my CC "career", we were having these same championships (the spring championships), and the main event buy in was $44. I had something like $160 in my account at that point, but decided that it'd be worth playing. Ended up taking 4th, learning a lot about my play (AG was on my left), and making some money. Definitely worth the experience.

Well being as it's unanimous (I'm counting AGs as a yes :)), guess I have to play :D.

I decided to play my own satellite tonight though, just 6-table some 5c/10c cash games. I'm planning on playing another hour or 2 but I'm up $25 for the night already, so that pretty much covers the cost anyway, plus about to unlock the $50 bonus for the echecks deposit. So I'll be there, got my watch alarm set for 4:30pm so I don't forget. See y'all there :)
