Showing the winning hand

Are the remaining players who did not bet, entitled to see the winning hand if only two players bet?

I prefer not to show, I only show when I need to keep a solid image in the game, after having this consistency, my bluffs will pass with greater ease.

I believe winning hands can be asked to be seen by any player at the table, involved in hand or not. Dick move to ask, though.

I guess what I was trying to ask is are all players entitled to see the winning hand regardless of how many players match the final pot.

2015 TDA rule 17: Asking to See a Hand
A: Players not still in possession of cards at showdown, or who have mucked their cards face down
without tabling, lose any rights or privileges to ask to see any hand.
B: If there was a river bet, any caller has an inalienable right to see the last aggressor’s hand
on request (“the hand he paid to see”) provided the caller retains or has tabled his cards.
TDs discretion governs all other requests such as to see the hand of another caller, or if
there was no river bet. See Illustration Addendum [adopted 2013].

Even if not in the rules would be very bad etiquette to ask

It is only necessary to show, when the pot is disputed after the river, otherwise it will not. Now if the question is whether to show your cards from time to time, to show your play, summary that best does not show, how much information you give your opponent better.

Just out of habit I guess, or to give lack of information (although I feel in the situations that you do show, you should already have that in consideration) I tend to never show my hands, strong or otherwise (9 high like a boss).

I never show! Unless it is late in a tourney and its to crush someones spirit and put them on tilt..then ill show them they made a bad laydown

Oh, I have learned something new.

Does this rule always apply?

For example in PS, if there is a showdown, all players(also these, that have folded their hands) can see the winning hand.

if the hand is tabled then I say yes. if the other player mucks aka he is called on a bluff, then maybe not

I never show my hands, not even when I lose. I always leave it in the auto-muck.

And in particular, I have a certain amount of anger at people who have a mania to show their hands.

The commentary of pros on TV seem to say that a novice or less experienced players should not show their hand unless they are the first to act after the river. I have only shown my hand where a particular player has been especially polite or a good sportsperson. It depends on how the hand was played sometimes. If I was aggressive from the start with a powerful hand, and continue to bet out or raise, and someone calls, then folds on the river, I might show the hand to show that I play good hands strongly. Make them think....so, he doesn't bluff.

Discussion if players which do not participate in the hand should see the cards or not is very interesting. Logically you do not need to show your cards to anyone else except the player or players who paid to see them. In reality on a table with 6 people or more it would be very difficult to show the cards to certain people without anybody else seeing them and i have not see a case when somebody does that. When you show you do it to everybody on the table. What are your observations? Did you see a case where somebody shows cards to just the player who paid to see them?

When a bet is called on the river, the winning hand(s) must me tabled for everybody to see. The dealer will in a live game point out the best possible combination.
