Site To Sell Tournament Entry/Hotel Stay

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site/place to sell a tournament entry/hotel stay. So I won a package to the Punta Del Estes Hotel casino that includes airfare, spending cash, airport transportation, hotel stay + breakfast for 6 nights (for two) and a $1100 entry into the Enjoy Punta Del Estes poker tournament. The site has already given me the money directly for the airfare + spending cash, but I'm not 100% sure yet that I want to make the trip to Uruguay. If I choose not to go, where would be the best place to post a listing to sell just the airport transportation, hotel stay + breakfast for 6 nights (for two) and a $1100 entry into the Enjoy Punta Del Estes poker tournament (which would be valued at $2500)? I may end up going, but it's coming up quickly and with work and kids just not sure if it's feasible yet to go so want to have options.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the package! I am unaware of any site that facilitates the sale of packages like that. We don't permit anything here that involves financial transactions (other than staking).

Thank you. Yeah wasn’t looking to sell on this site, just figured with the vast amount of players on here (many whom I assume play online) that there might be someone that has won a package like this and run into the same issue. Either way I got $2000 off a $55 tournament it just would be nice to not waste the hotel and $1100 entry if I can’t go.

Sounds like a dream come true, you'd have to prise that package out of my cold, dead hands if it were mine! 😅

May I ask how you won it?

~EDiT:- Sadly I don't think it will be an easy or simple thing to sell. Obviously online is more than likely going to be the answer, I've been thinking but so far can only really think of popular generic online marketplaces to be honest... If inspiration strikes I'll let you know.

I won it on americascardroom.com poker site. They had a tournament on the 12th and one coming up on the 19th. They have a bunch of free rolls and mini ticket buys or you could just pay $55 to the main event and then the top 5 people win a package (so once 5 left the tournament just shutdown)

Took 6 hours and 59 minutes and I was one of 5 left. So they immediately loaded $2000 into my account to withdraw ($1500 for airfare + $500 spending) and then by the July 11th you have to give them the name for whose coming (person taking the entry ticket and then if there is a guest staying in the room with them).

I agree it does seem awesome, so I am stoked and would love to do it. The downside, I live in WI so to get there is a pain (can do the ticket for like $1000 so it’s covered, but it’s a day or two of travailing depending on the airline and way to get there) and there’s the fact that with kids, wife, work, etc I’m just not 100% I want take 5 days to play in the tournament plus additional 3 days in travel time……but I might 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you can, you should definitely go in my opinion.

If you can't go perhaps it might be possible & simplest to find someone online in Uruguay to purchase the ticket at a discounted rate and then just keep the air travel money etc. instead?

That's what I'd probably aim for if I was in your position but I couldn't go.

Looks like flying from UK to Uruguay return isn't quite as much as I thought it would be... 😇😄

Yeah, I mean you’re right I definitely should go. Have to give it some thought for sure. Either way if I don’t in walk away with $2000 and a pretty cool story so can’t complain………but I’ll have to post some pics of my winning prize pool if I do 😂

Congratulations on your ticket that you won. But when it comes to selling, you should first be sure that someone else can play with it before you sell it. As far as I know, it is often the case that you cannot pass on or sell such a ticket because it is only registered in your name. But even if it works, I would advise you if you were able to go and play then that would do so. Who knows maybe it'll be such a life-changing story. But no matter what you are going to do, I wish you every success with your project

I know, I defiantly love adventure and am due for one after this long world shutdown so I may end up going……I was mainly looking for suggestions for if family arrangements just don’t work out then I wanted to have an avenue to offload it.

I did speak to the poker site and they did confirm the hotel and entry ticket are transferable, they just don’t offer a cash option for them (and that I need to provide final name for the ticket by July 11th). Hopefully that final name will be mine…..just working on all the family planning this week to see if feasible
