I'm really annoyed when I'm in the big blind with AA, KK, QQ, JJ hands, then they always pass everything like they know I have monsters there. You sit waiting for your hand and everything goes away. Have you ever had this before?

Once online, in one 2 day period, I got a walk with AA in the BB three times and KK twice. I was not happy.

what are these programs? Do not talk nonsense. But the fact that a person does not have a hand to enter the bank, this cannot be?

Sometimes it happens. This is poker my friend, that's why we love it, for its unpredictability.

No need to sit around waiting for monsters, you need to play different hands and you will succeed.:)

Yes, this happens periodically with me, and probably with every player. It seems that she is a monster hand, now I will double, and then everything was reset.😭

If your opponents don't have strong hands they probably won't play at all, but if they do you can be sure they will try to play for the pot. And many times, depending on what hits the table, you'll have to fold your AA, if you don't go all-in pre-flop, of course.

Seems to happen all too often, Its very strange considering you see the same people going crazy with hands like KJ etc. you'd expect at least 1 person to have a broadway or something playable. but ya know it happens to everyone I guess.

It's normal. Don't get affected with that. At least you had a walk rather that get cracked. Am I right?

It's quite unpleasant, just like when you UTG raise AA (2 BB) and then everyone folds. No counter action follows, and the prize is the miraculous blinds (of course, it's early in the tournament, ante nowhere) and after that you won't see AA in the tournament anymore, and after that you won't see AA in the tournament anymore, only when someone knocks you out with it.

Has happened many times to me. While it's "annoying" for want of a better word, I'd much prefer that to happen, than have my pocket aces run down by the big stack's rubbish. I have been known to utter the odd naughty word, when that happens. lol.

It's happened to me a few times, but when I consider how many times I've lost to garbage with AA or KK, I think then. luckily there hasn't been a garbage hand against whom I've lose. some see it as missed opportunities but I see it a little differently I'm still in the tournament and there will still be opportunities where do I have the chance to improve my stack

It's just a hand. And you won it. No different than if you raised from UTG and everyone folds. It's just poker. A win is a win, mate.

Stop getting upset at outcomes and focus on the process, the decisions...the plays.

Basically, if poker makes you upset, you have the wrong attitude and probably shouldn't be playing poker.

You should instantly forget all the hands you fold. (note: you will however, be reviewing the hands later...so not totally forgotten).

Do not put yourself through the agony of "Oh, I folded Top Pair/Two Pair/Trips/Straight/Flush/Boat". You folded because it was the correct play given your stack size, range, position, stage of tourney, intel on opponent, etc. The only decision you cannot make, is that one which picks the next cards to fall. We're playing the odds...yet often enough, we see odds-defying run outs. That doesn't mean you should have called. It means that you did the right thing, yet an outlier fell on the table.

Me, personally, I love it everytime someone folds. You CANNOT LOSE when everyone has folded. That is winning poker right there baby.
Also -- when you've reviewed as many hands as I have, you realise that AA / KK can lose you a LOT of chips if you don't play them correctly given your table tendencies. Overvaluing these strong starter hands can be lethal.

Cheers,
JT
