For me it is probably patience. I am not always perfect at it, but knowing when to wait for a better spot can make a big difference. Deception is definitely useful too, but you need to know when to use it.
I think that deception is very important in the game, but without forgetting patience, because when the right time comes, it is about taking action, for me it would be about combining the two abilities.
