SNG X CASH TABLES

I prefer SNG because it is easier to maintain your bank, it may take a while to finish the game but I managed to control your cashier more than you play at the cash tables.

Managing your bankroll is of course easier with SNG. However, unlike SNG, a cash game allows you to stop at any time. The more disciplined you are, the better bankroll management is also feasible in a cash game.

Yes it is all about bankroll management, and it is up to the person self to find what is best for them, and which games they have the most comfort play at.

I just like the tournament format. That's why I'm for SNG

SNG are a very good way to build a bankroll.
Provided you play disciplined, put a little work into your game, you will make up to 10 bucks buy ins almost certainly money.
Unfortunately, there is not as much traffic as there used to be.

Definitely Sit&Go. I prefer the DoN format. In my opinion, it's relatively the easiest way to systematically build your bankroll. It's a pity that this format is not very popular and not many poker rooms offer it.

Obviously the advantage of any kind of tournament is, that you know in advance, how much you can potentially lose, at least if its a shootout, which most SnGs are. In cash games this can be more difficult to manage, especially if you use the auto top-up function. But if you play a session of SnGs rather than just a single one, losses can also quickly pile up. So regardless of which format, you prefer, it can be a good idea to set a session stop-loss. For cash games that might be something like 300-500BB, and for SnGs maybe it could be 6-10 BIs. If you lose that much, you are done for the day, regardless how you feel about it.
