Lol Big losses come with the territory of a poker player. You shouldnt be trying to become pro if you cant handle it.

No, I enjoy playing poker for the fun of it. Of course I enjoy winning, but I think it would be way to stressful to play for a living. I don't need that much stress in my life.

Obviously that losses are very sad, and make me angry.
But after, I just think if I did or not the best moves and choices. If yes, so the loss doesn't bothers too much.

I might take a big loss pretty hard, but maybe not that hard.
Like Delena, I think living off of poker wins alone would be too stressful for me, unless I already had a nice 500k or more in savings, then I could maybe relax for atleast 5 years and just try to make enough winnings to pay for all the everyday mundane expenses of living.

I don't believe anyone can beat a deck of cards. Never know what is coming. What you have to do is have some plan for those mid levels. Has to be something besides how you normally play at those times. I was just playing a MTT and I was card dead and the blinds were high, So I deceided to either blind out or all in out. And it worked for awhile but the blinds eat me up. And I was almost ITM. Nothing I could do about it, but didn't go out with a trash hand. GL to you

Carter Gill, the dude who lost the first hand in the video, went 0-for-19 in the wsop this summer! Unfortunately he didn't list all the events he played in his Twitter feed. But can you imagine how much he lost in fees this summer? Wow.

The cheapest event at the WSOP this year was the Colossus ($565) and there were just a few $1,000 buy-ins, but otherwise the minimal buy-in was $1,500 per tourney. He must have paid out at least $50,000 in entry fees this summer and won squa-doosh, as Norm Chad would say.

My opinion

The river can be detrimental at times. Good thing people who play poker for a living have the next tourny. Good to see a woman, gail, on the winning side of a bad beat.
