Soft playing and chip feeding

During my time at live play in casinos, I found out they had a rule that didn't allow couples to play at the same table, especially during sng and tourneys. This was primarily to stop soft playing -'lets check it down' and chip feeding in tourneys. Does anyone know of an equivalent online rule ? How can it be monitored and enforced ?

it would be hard to do that and to much time would have to be put into that....there r alot of couples, friends, groups playing to prevent that!
