Let's say you're doing a $20 buy-in. What do the blinds start at? How does the increasing blinds work? What is the time interval when you double it? That way, the game keeps moving, and people who knock out early can play another round before the night is over.

Any other good links to advise hosting a home game?

You will learn faster if you play these types of games, I.e a sit n go, rather than people telling you, coz you won't really know what you're doing until you've had playing experience.....then you will know the structures
