yes , me too ! i've lost many tournaments with AQ off and AQ suited as well . i play it much more slowly in ring games , where the blinds (and antes ), are not as important , and the stack sizes much deeper .mrfastflow said:

I don't have any special hands, I play the ones I think are convenient, because when the flop falls, everything changes, you might get a good hand, maybe it depends on luck.

j9 🤕 i just love the underdogs.. sometimes its the only way to get ahead.. everyone who raises have AK A10 or something.. i love a good take down with a less than permium hand.

pocket jacks probably are a big loser for me in MTTs . too big to fold without trying a raise or reraise , and quite vulnerable if all the chips wind up going in .

AK - I have to remember- it is, still, just a drawing hand. Sometimes in an all in pre- flop against JJ or QQ you hit your ace or king on the river and sometimes you don't. I feel very frequently, when I'm in a flip in a poker tournament I'm all in with either JJ or QQ or AK. And statistically those coin flips just don't work out in my favour. I should change my strategy, instead of going all in with AK, go all in with 9-10 suited or something similar.

For me, it's probably AJo. It looks strong enough to get attached to, but it can easily become a trouble hand against tighter ranges or heavy action. In the past, I caught myself calling too often or stacking off when I should have slowed down. Over time I learned to treat it as a good but not premium hand and let the situation, position, and opponent determine how aggressively to play it. It’s still tempting, but I respect it much more now.
