In the time that I have been playing poker I have appreciated that there are many Latino players who have excelled. What do you think is the main virtue and defect that a Latin player presents in poker, compared to players from other continents?

All poker players are created equal from all parts of earth. They are not bond by age, religion, race or gender, all with different skill level. Main virtue of any playing would be the amount of time they are willing to dedicate to learning, including time away from the table to understand all facets of the game.

I don't like to make comparisons by nationality or locality, but I realize that it is more difficult to play against Latin players, especially Brazilians. Why? I don't know how to explain yet.

In Brazil it is considered a mental sport and many people play it. Also the poker schools there teach a very aggressive style, maybe that's why

for me its the ability to adapt and make changes on the fly, what i have noticed is that latin players are really aggressive, but also passive

I love the aggression and the creativity of the latin american players.

They are very willing to make bluffs off stack sizes that most other players won't.

They are in general very sticky and good at always giving themselves a chance to win the pot. I think Pessagno was the first to show the power of refusing to fold.

Sometimes that can get them into trouble, but only really when they run into the top of their opponents range.

One of the Latin American players I really enjoy watching play is TheN3rdGuy

I think that all players are plus or minus in the same conditions. It's just that the population in Latin America is large, the more you mean all the countries of Latin America, and against this background, there are correspondingly more and more successful players. If we compare, for example, with one of the European countries.
I think if players from China, India and Indonesia played online, the percentage of successful players from any European country would be even lower.

Latin American players, like any other, are different. There are really skilled, there are those who only think that they are skilled, and there are those who do not think at all. Players are different and in general nationality does not matter.

My point of view may differ with that of many but it is that in Latin America poker is incipient compared to the rest of the world, it is a game that now captures popular attention. In my country and particularly in my city there are still very few people who play poker. Tournaments rarely run every two to three years at local casinos. This means that we lack a lot of experience, you do not have many people who know about the subject and can discuss plays and game experiences

I believe that aggressive play is an advantage and a disadvantage of Latin American players. Sometimes aggressive play brings good results, but in my opinion it often brings frustration and loss. However, we all understand that the main thing is the skill and experience of the player and not his nationality.

I think that different areas produce different styles of play as a demographic, not necessarily as a nationality. Ive never played outside of the states but I have played all over the US and different places have a wildly different style coming from the locals.

hello

that the Latin player plays more passively speculates a lot, sometimes he has the winning hand and another player goes for all of them and takes them because the Latin player from my point of view is more conservative !!!
