I think it might be pretty even now if we're putting them against each other in their primes.

Stu was just really aggressive when most players played a very tight game. Paired with good people reading/hand reading skills, he was able to do very well.

Daniel has success in poker when there are more aggressive/hyper aggressive players at the tables, mostly due to the internet poker boom at the type of players that do well. I'm not sure if his people reading/hand reading skills is up to par with Stu's, but it's still very good. Stu's aggressive style will not really bother Daniel's play since he's so used it already.

I think Stu's weakness could be playing too aggressive at times and getting trapped easily and Daniel's weakness is he's a call station at times, which could get him into a lot of trouble.

In the end, I think it's really close, but maybe a slight edge to STU...

Stu Ungar could almost guarantee a win. It was his powers of observation that helped him survive tournaments. Imagine if we picked up a read on the turn, he would've picked up a read pre-flop and so on. He always played one level above of his opponents.

Daniel!

IMO Daniel Negreanu is one of the best ambassador that our game could have, he is talented, funny, intelligent and very charismatic and above his good poker skills he has the ability to read people very well and he feels very comfortable on Tv as well so for me he is the best.

Stu Ungar is better thank kid poker, and even better than phil Ivey I think.
Stu Ungar played in a field full of professional players and he still got the huge edge.

other player play mixture with recreation player , etc etc.

definitely Stu Ungar is the best.

Can't really say because Stu is from a way older timeline of poker. People played much differently back then. Poker was less theoretical strategic play back then IMO. The gameplay has evolved a ton since then.

I like what cupofsalt said. It's a hard comparison considering the vast differences in the game, but as doe said, Stu had a natural talent for the game. Not just Hold 'em, but cards in general. I still think kid poker is the absolute shit, but if I was a gambling man, I'd put my money on Ungar.

I think they are different styles of play, Daniel is very intuitive, Stu is aggressive as before but Daniel told his long time and talks can unnerve him Stu, as a good sign Negreanu see you all in .. going to win or out of the tournament, lol

there wasn't such a big field of poker players when stu was doing well,and daniel is the nr 1 total cash won in poker.daniel is the best
