Well i also like to test suited connectors at early stage if i can see cheap flop with them and also more frequently i do not hit flush than i do (which is also expected). I think that many people overestimate the chance to get flush, play suited cards too frequently and sometimes invest too much preflop hoping to get it. Even if we hit 2 cards on the flop and we only need one more on the turn or river our chance to get it is not that high. On the turn we have 47 cards left and only 9 of them are from the same suit that we need so our chance is around 19%. On the river chance is around 20%. That is the best case when none of the suit cards is in any of the other players which most probably will not be the case.
