Getting 72/24 players booted out of your poker site is -EV.

while I agree with this on principal the logic may be slightly skewed. Yes a couple of lagtards with 72/24 would be good for a table but if both players are colluding sharing cards, chip dumping etc. Unless you are picking up monsters any hand you play in you will be an underdog since a win by either is a win for the team.

So if anyone try to kill someone with a knife and accidentally cuts out a tumor, is considered as good guy and should stay free ???

I think the trying and the planing of any crime is worth a punishment, no matter how dumb or stupid!

..and if I remember right, so it's written in the law...!

First allow me to apologize for the delay in responding to your report. This
particular case was quite involved and more time than usual was required for
the review.

We have concluded that the play of 'nic1215' and 'Rocky252010' violated the
integrity of our games. They have been informed that they are no longer
welcome to play on our site. In addition they were disqualified from events
in which their unfair play affected the outcome. While we appreciate your
vigilance in bringing this case to light, unfortunately you did not advance
into the money due to the disqualifications. However, we have refunded your
buy-in of $3.40 for Tournament #308808962 so that you will not have been
affected monetarily by their cheating.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance to us
and we will not abide unfair play in our games. We work hard to police our
games to assure our players of a fair, secure place to play. In the rare
cases where violations of our Terms of Service have occurred we make sure
that any players affected are compensated appropriately.

Please accept our thanks for your timely report and continued play here on
PokerStars. Please do not hesitate to let us know any time we can be of help.

Regards,

Teymour

well the main thing I noticed was that both players always played the same hands through 44 hands they were both like 72/24 or so but exactly the same and they would both call shoves from other players with often terrible cards and if one of them won the hand they would quickly dump off some of the chips to the other. Their strategy was pretty bad as far as collusion goes one of them did finish 3rd but the other busted right behind me they busted me out in 6th calling my AK with a couple of rag hands and hitting.

oh forgot after that tourney ended they joined another tourney together. Yes I was all tilty and stalky like so I looked em up.

Or this ^^

The point of poker is to make money. Cheating is only a problem when it reduces your ability to make money. 72/24 players are obviously donors, so getting rid of them is not something you want.

x 1000

If these morons are 'cheating' at this level. They obviously suck, big time. It's a sad day for the 3.40 SNGs. On the upside, there are plenty more where that came from :dancing:

Actually I think you have this slightly backwards. Belgo's statement is logical that getting rid of 72/24 players is -ev but to many people it's not a good thing on principal, integrity etc...

Of course in business, sport, and life in general we ignore things on principal every single day so that we can earn a little more money. Anyone here get some free mp3's lately?

However, thinking long term, these two could have developed a system that would have made it -ev to play against them and getting caught has put an end to their ambitions; alternately, getting caught may be the impetus they need to learn some form of profitable cheating. We may never know the true outcome...
