I have mixed emotions about on-line vs live poker, but I have come to a conclusion recently; Silence is golden.
In terms of actual playing, reading players is easier in live poker. I just have decided I do not care anymore. I like that silent sound, the one where I have no distractions to deal with and I just concentrate on the cards that I have in my hand.
I turn off all chat options at the table and I refuse to engage in any banter anymore from here on out. I have in the past allowed myself to be baited by nincompoops or trolls, but no more.
