It`s relevant to know that u can get straight with: A,6,7,8,9

And note that a three of a kind beats a straight.

Anda flush beats a full house...



I didn`t know that... So I thought that was important to share.

I do not like that as it it too hard of a game just like Omaha. Just give me regular Texas Holdem

I also want to add the words of the author and say that TEXAS 6+ is a very dispersive type of poker with a short deck, you need a good strong bankroll before you sit down to play this discipline.

There can be slight differences. Some tables don't included trips beating a straight.

It's actually quite interesting 6+ holdem.
It reminds me of Royal Holdem I sometimes play on the NLOP. web site.
Only cards in Royal holdem are A,K,Q,J,10, All hand rankings stay the same unlike 6+ holdem.
In 6+ flushes beat fullhouses xD

I don't like it personally. Normal holdem is best for me. I don't see how the short deck will make the game any better.
