Texas hold 'em or Pot Limit Omaha?

I started playing Omaha poker, but as Texas Holden is so much more popular, I started playing this game, and ended up liking it more.

I prefer Omaha. I think betting with only two cards is just flat out crazy. I don't enjoy betting with two cards, but I will. Hold 'em is basically a game of hitting top pair and betting. I think Hold 'em is also more difficult online, because more players means more cheating and bots. At least in Omaha I can have a flush and straight draw more often. Then again, that's also why there's more action in Omaha. About a week ago, the Omaha 8 average hand $ was 4 times higher than at the NL Hold 'em tables. I just really don't feel comfortable betting in Hold 'em. This is not to say I won't play Hold 'em, I will play tournaments, but never tables.

I played a PLO freeroll last week for the 1st time and out of some 200+ players I think I finished 10th? It seems easier, to me, than NLH only for the fact that you have a greater ability to actually see a flop without going all-in (in early blind structures). Going to play another PLO freeroll in about an hour. Looking forward to it.

I play more PLO than hold em. I used to like 2-7 triple draw on PokerStars but no one really plays that game

I like PLO better, it is far more engaging but I am far better at NLHE so am sticking with it mostly. One step at a time, I suppose.

Texas Hold´em is what I like and enjoy the most..In my opinion, Omaha is a little bit complicated due to the more combinations the game has..

I prefer texas holdem. I have played at Omaha a few times but I do not like that bet is limited.

Most of my study time has been dedicated to NLHE but recently have started playing Omaha ... I will probably always have a preference for NLHE but Omaha is fun ... it also is a different challenge with more variance ... kind of a wilder game ... and for me it is always fun to learn a new game I get sidetracked by it even, and although I have played it for a while, I am only just now starting to spend time working on that game ... NLHE is much more available and I know much more about it so will probably always do better at it ... so there's that

I am a huge fan of Omaha, it is the funnest game to play in my opinion. Omaha almost makes Holdem a boring game. If your already playing Omaha, you should try out the Omaha hi low games, they are very fun and my favorite game to play. Cheers, good luck at the tables.

i love playing Texas hold i am not a big fan of omaha anymore when i go to the club to play cash game i am obliged to play some hands because many players like to play omaha.

I have difficult time on NLH , understanding the odds , the right calls or shoves , etc . How would it be easier on PLO , ??lol I play very rarelly PLO cash micro , for fun , for tournaments don't even mention it , lol . Very very rarely , and again , only micro/nano stakes andfor fun

I really enjoy PLO and it's the game I play the most next to NLHE. Just make sure you're always drawing to the nuts, because 2nd best straights, flushes and full houses are where a lot of the money changes hands and you want to make sure you're on the high end when all of the chips go into the middle.

I actually prefer Pot Limit Omaha over Holdem myself. I like both dont get me wrong. There is so much going on in post flop compared to Holdem and the combinations of things really is intriguing to see with betting and checks and raises. I fell it is a underrated game even though its popular for the most part of the masses.

Currently playing and focusing on NLHE but I've played PLO a bit and it seems quite fun.

I would love to branch out later to PLO it seems like a great game just more variance to deal with.

I only play Texas Hold'em at the moment.
However, learning the other variants of Poker would be very interesting. I've played PLO a few times, but I didn't stand by playing this variant.

I fully agree with you, I mean, i'm the same situation.
I only play Omaha on those freeroll tournaments ACR promote, and is a seriously fun experience.

I like good ol Texas hold em, but lately been getting better/ used to having 4 but only using 2, at first it's a lil confusing.
