I hate Titans Timer ... doesnt give enough warning at the end of the timer, and the Table doesnt pop to the top when its the next hand.

WHEN I STACK A VILLIAN I WANT THEIR WHOLE STACK not one poxy euro.

Over time the extra 4 euros adds up to a lot.

Why would I play a window licker to win £1 when there is another one happy to lose £5 just a few seconds behind??

And yes, If they stack me they take £5 rather than £1. But as I stack these people a hell of a lot more than they stack me it doesnt bother me.

It dosent matter that you normally play more hands.

You sit down at at table with $5, you know that whatever happens you will play poker tomorrow. Does that mean that you are risking $25? or $75? The fact that you intend to play future hands has no bearing on the risk in the current hand.

Your maximum risk is the effective stack and when villian buys in for $1 the effective stack is $1 therefore you are not risking $5

Assume zero rake and no rebuys allowed.

1) How much can hero win (Maximum)?

2) Is it possible that hero can lose £5 ? Yes or no

I think you are missing the point Mr Ungar. OP is not talking about risk in HANDS (obviously you are only risking the numerical value of the lowest stack), he is talking about risk in SESSIONS overall.

How does anyone know how long the session will be?

Hero might quit

Villian might quit.

When looking at risk you can only consider what is risked in the current hand; this is not a freezeout.

If you want to include future hands, then hero risks his entire bankroll and not a cent less.

The length of the session is 100% unknown. The length of a session is always 100% unkown, even if it was with somebody you know. The fact that the sesion is 100% unkown is a 100% certaintly.

Any more questions you can think up to avoid answering the question. Or maybe you could risk losing the ego and answer it. But I somewhat doubt that.

Well if we dont know that villian will play future hands or not, then the only thing we can say with any certainty is that our maximum risk is the effective stack.

No Mr Ungar, not at all.

Firstly that statement it incorrect

This would be true if you added

...." in each individual hand" or do you disagree Mr Ungar?

But, Mr Ungar, you didnt thus the statement is factually incomplete.

the other thing we can say with 100% certainty is:

Hero has the potential to lose £5 in the session

Hero has the potential to win £1 session and not a penny more.

This being of course if villian or hero doesnt leave, the world doesnt end or infact the internet does not get taken over my Belgian sock merchants and used soley to trade thermals.

Would you agree or disagree with that statement Mr Ungar?

Care to break the habit of a lifetime and answer the question. You should take up politics, Mr Ungar, they need people like yourself. Excellent at sidestepping yes no questions, or better still answering it with a question.

I expect this will be my last post as I am near my limit.

I think if you just think a little bigger and give hero the option to rebuy then you might see why its wrong to to start considering future hands.

If we give both hero and villian unlimited rebuys, then by your reasoning the risk ceases to be $5 or $1 and now becomes the smaller of the two bankrolls, i.e $2K. Of course this just dosent make any sense.

Your question dosent make any sense.

It assumes that noone has the option to quit, which is what differentiates a cash game from a freezout.

You want to know how much hero and villian can potentially win in a single session.

All I need to know is the length of the session and how it is you are able to predict the length of that session.

Its like asking me how far I think you can drive and me replying.. how long will you be driving for.
