Hey poker peeps.

I've been playing for cash online for a year and half now.

I used to play daily and sometimes for hours.

Recently I got into a job that reduced my play time a lot.

Sometimes weeks go by and I don't play.

How about you, is there anything taking away your poker time?

Of course, poker takes a lot of time and finding that time is usually very difficult. Although I have a free schedule, I still don't play as much time as I would like. But 3-4 days a week in the evenings I can afford to play in a few favorite tournaments.

I’m the same boat as you are work has cut into my poker time and also Covid has cut into it even more. I’m working all week this week do to Covid. Two guys I worked with have it and one had to go to the hospital. I think he will be alright and the other guy said he is fine. I would rather have to work a lot and miss poker time then get sick with Covid. Hope your job slows down for you and you have more poker time.

My work also takes up my time, but I chose tournaments for myself in such a format to be able to play 2-3 hours a day after work.

When intestinal problems get worse, then I don't play much. Yes! I have to work. Then you need to rest. It happens that there is too little time for poker or I play in a sleepy state. This is reflected in the result.

Probably everyone's work takes almost all of their time. Now is the time when there is no way without work. And also there are hobbies, family, everyday life, which also take time ... I also play only a couple of times a week and then only for 1 - 2 hours. I used to play more often. A lot is played by the one who earns his living by playing poker or the one who has money and does not need to work)))

Job shortens my poker time, especially our private Cardschat games, as they are very late for our time! But now I temporarily have problems with my main job and I began to play poker more often, I had a little more time to work on the game and study the material on poker! I think a lot of people who play poker have main jobs that take their time to play poker, especially if you love playing tournaments! Good luck to everyone at the tables!

The trick is to find a job where you can still play poker on your phone while working. :D

Get just enough done at work to establish a low expectation of work output and play poker with your work "free time." ;)

Time vs Poker

Tournament lasts for a few hours or more and I have to know precisely when I'm free to play poker. I don't like to play turbo or hyper so normal tournaments are my option. As I said it request time.
I work during the summer season 24/7 and I'm mostly free during the winter. that's why I play poker mostly from October till April or May. Maybe I'm lucky for it but during summertime I couldn't play at all.

Recently, I myself have been reducing my playing time. I am looking for other things so as not to sit for hours at the computer.

Wow man, so many replies!!!

Thanks everyone for sharing.
So many reasons that take away poker huh?

Well, hope y'all find more time to play cause it's sure damn fun this game. And a good exercise of mind and emotional quotient.

Wish y'all the fattest pots.

Work is my poker killer also, thankfully it’s only a seasonal job so the winters I can play all the poker I want! April to December I can only manage time to play 1 day every other week and that’s if I’m lucky

I can play everyday at night because I work until 6pm, but usually can't play for too long because I need to wake early in week days.

Work has reduced my playing time significantly. I feel too tired to be focused. But I want to change that a bit because I want to play a bit more :)

Of course, I also always lack time for the game. I work as a driver, and sometimes I come home very late and very tired, so I go to bed right away. In general, it is very difficult to find a balance between work and hobbies.

My solution to the lack of time has been to play Spin&Go. Each game takes 5~7 minutes so I can even take breaks from work to play when I need to relax. At night I play ACR tournaments and sometimes I venture to pay tables.
