Thinking of poker even when...

Just had a crazy weekend but i couldn't stop thinking of playing poker and hands to play, they was going over and over in my head.. Anybody else had this before?

I mean i was scoring with a chick and my mind was focused on if i should play a A and 7 during it :stupid:

Is it only me or has this happened to you lot?

had to share it on here because i don't think any other group of people would understand lmao

Lol dude, you've got it bad just now hey...I'm assuming you are a newish player, and yeah for the first 3 or 4 months when I started I was thinking about poker constantly, so much so that I was even dreaming about it....I suppose if you want to give your mind a rest for a half an hour you could do some meditation...I find that helps relax the mind of any thought......but yeah, if a girl can't stop the poker thoughts then you have got it bad lol

yea , when i fist started playing a bit more serious,a few years ago,i was so into it that i found myself thinking about hands all the time. U start to think;wtf is wrong with me. But after a few weeks it stopped. the thinking about hands in random situations.

Its just cause your really excited cause your probably kind of new to the game.ull get over it.

I have been playing poker for years now. I STILL think about poker frequently.

I talk about poker all the time with my best friend (who likes to play almost as much as me). I don't think it will ever change for me.

As for gettin' on with a woman, I am not thinking about poker. However, afterwards I may be.

Lol. Thinking about poker would be the last thing I'll be thinking about with a women, but poker is the top 4 things I think about often. It's pretty funny though, how often I would replay hands in my head.

It is normal for something to be stuck in your head. Especially things that require a lot of thought and learning.

Race car drivers probably imagine different speeds, turns, ect.

Hahaha I was just thinking how I couldn't get poker out of my head during Easter dinner with the family... "I could be at the comp with some tables open right now... wonder how much I can make today blah blah blah".

I'm pretty certain I haven't been thinking of poker while getting laid man... I think this is where we insert that hotline for gambling problems in a response for you

Unless you think about getting laid while playing poker.. that'll make it even right??

yeah I am always replaying hands the I witnessed or participated in during the live games I go to in my head.

Pokeher is all that's on my mind while with a girl though. (lame? lol)

Who knows maybe thinking about poker could help you last longer in bed. (unless of course it's a hand where you doubled your stack that was already double your original buyin.)
