Thoughts on Poker Possibly Being an Olympic Sport?

I personally am a huge fan of poker but think the idea of it being in the Olympics is ridiculous. Its simply not a sport and requires too much luck even though I'd argue skill is a majority. The amount of luck poker requires for any single tournament means Poker in the olympics would never work in my opinion.

Well it deserves luck yes same as if a sprinter not comitting a foul and getting a right start also requires luck.

Poker is more luck based but yea it being in olympics could be coool

I love poker, but an Olympic sport? Really? No way. I'd rather see auto racing in the Olympics before poker. Both are arguably a sport, but the only sweat you get from poker is praying he don't call your big bluff.
