for a beginner player This is a normal phenomenon but you need to try to fight it

Roman Tell me how often do you fall into tilt?

Roman say you are earning poker or for you it's just entertainment?

Roman Do you remember me together with you at the same table playing in the bounty for $ 3 I'm Valera from Minsk?

Great question, buddy!
I've been in Tilt very many times at the beginning of my career, when I lost for losing, but now it's different, I rarely fall into Tilt, try to keep myself in hand (do not get out of control), because it negatively affects the game in +

I agree with nera75, it is really a beginners phenomenon. I also had it at the beginning. But meanwhile I just think, well, it was just a game, that not turned out well. But no problem, there will be others. And if it is a unlucky streak, that I have, I just stop playing for this day. Sometimes it is like this and it is normal.

Tilt comes about because the game of poker depends to some extent on luck. Even if the player is a professional, he still has tilt, but rarely. If you notice a streak of failure, then it's better not to play for a while.

Tilt is generally caused from an expectation that something should go your way. If you learn to accept variance and understand the saying "That's Poker" you should certainly be ahead of the curve.

hello ...it is very hard stop yourself tilting if you are prone to going on tilt....

its maybe best to just admit there are issues, unrelated to poker that causes it...and work on it slowly and honestly..

controlled ''calm'' is not the best option.

There are moments in the game, the main thing is not to give up and not to go to extremes...

Like was said earlier, tilt is probably more prevalent with new players to the game, but we all fall into it at one time or another. The key is patience and knowing when to take a step back. I read a lot of posts on the CradsChat site and and it seems that the number one piece of advice that is given is to have patience. Of course that works for lots of things ..... not just poker.

Everyone has a recession. You can not always play at a high level. Life will somehow affect the results. Is it easy to overcome the recession? Depends on the person himself. From the psyche in the first place. And will power.

If you wont to be a good poker player you should get your tilt to minimum and you should know when are you on tilt so you can go on a break to regain your confidance

The biggest thing that causes tilt for me is losing repeatedly with the best starting hands against a lot of trashy hands. Happened today - this guy was jamming almost every hand usually with trash. He was winning 90% of them. I finally allowed home to push me all-in. I started with AJs. He started with 84o. I ended with AJs. He ended with 88 44.

He went on to crush everybody winning the SnG with one trashy hand after another.

I see that sort of thing happen far too frequently. It always baffles me why people do that, and why it works so well for them.

Tilt is a natural reaction to usually an unexpected occurrence that everyone goes through all the way up to the best pros .the big difference is how you deal with it .how badly it affects you and for how long .in tournament play there’s not much you can do but try snd relax and get back to your game as fast as you can hopefully before the next hand starts .

Anyone that tells you they never tilt does not recognize the effects it has in them and should look st their game a little deeper . Tilt doesn’t mean you lose all your chips or ho completely mad it means that your mood your play or your strategy is altered by the outcome of a hand . To say that it has no effect on you when someone cracks your aces by calling off both your stacks with 10 3 Off is not honest

So when you tilt because we all do take the time to Annalise it and get your head straight before you act again even if it means walking away for a few hands

This is a standard psychological phenomenon to the novice player. Learn over time to cope with tilt. The game is built over a long distance, not because of one bad hand.

Tilt in Poker has to do with Bad Beat. Imagine you winning $100 in the cash game and suddenly you lose $25, you will want to play all hands wanting to hit the flop and try to recover these $25, the more you end up losing more $25, and you get annoyed even more. In my opinion the best thing to do is to leave the table and go have a passion fruit juice to relax.

He is often connected to the Ego.
People find themselves the best all the time, and when defeats come, they get nervous and make decisions anyway.
We can also say that Tilt's overall mood is linked to emotional stress. Sometimes, for some negative happening in life causes psychological shock and you "punish your game".

The way I approach Tilt or Downswing is through meditation and I discover the root of my problem and remedy.

This has worked for me.

Fall into a state of tilt after a bad bet ... or worse still lose a hand with AA against 33 ... but you must remember that in poker there is variance and those things can happen ... after a situation of those try not to lose your cool ... count to 10 ... breathe deeply ...!

The biggest thing to bring tilt to me, are obviously suckouts, and poor poker decisions from other players. Although I should probably not get upset at this, because in the long run, these will pay off more often than not.

tilt is just a set of emotions, it happens when you play with excitement and not with a cold head

Sometimes you just can't avoid tilt, let's say you lose big stack with KK against 53 or something like that, you just need to learn how to calm down and try to work your stack back.
