Tilt on poker and revenge

How do you guys deal with tilt on poker? Bad beats, that lucky sh*t hand that beat yours etc? I find myself tilting too much, not because of money but because i am too competitive.

Other thing, do you guys seek revenge on players, like you want your lost chips back from them?

I just say myself that it's not meant to be. Sometimes, you'll lose no matter how good you played or how good you got in and there's no point getting mad over the things that are out of my control. That's what I think when I get another bad beat or losestreak.

Seeking revenge and/or casually trying someone in your table to be eliminated is never bad idea. Specially when you're playing cardchat games.

I've had this feeling of revenge, especially when you have good cards and the bingueiro doesn't, for example, you KK he 2 and 8, on the flop comes a 2 and on the last card an 8

seeking revenge is one of the worst things you could do actually.. it brings no good to the game and blurs your decisions because you just want to eliminate that guy. Try to avoid this feeling, it will sure help you get better results

I think to seek revenge is one of the worst thing you can do, because most of the times the result will not be good. You will try to play every hand against the other player to win your chips back, and this is not a good strategy.

If you are playing online tournaments & you are getting good hands & still getting beat, just remember it's the software program that is really the culprit.
Figure out the action software for the site & you will have better results.

When I suffer a major bad beat, I may have a few choice words for the moment. But I don't get mad or angry at the other player, and I definitely don't go on tilt. I just stop and think of all the bad beats I've delivered to other players in the past. What goes around comes around. It's part of the game.

I absolutely do seek revenge on players but not in the way you would think. There are time players do things that some player get set on tilt over. I seek revenge but control my tilt. My revenge is working on my game to become a better player. This way next time I am better prepared to save my chips or win there.

Sometimes being at the same table with the same player, and if he has been fuzzing for a while, I can take revenge on him, and in an unexpected moment, raise or 3-bet. For me, revenge in poker is expressed this way, but nothing more, it's just a game.

It's a special thing to knockout a bully or someone who is quite annoying. But I try to calm down and don't change my game just because of this player, because the risk of a blow-up is to damn high.

I never seek for revenge, I think if you don't have a good mentality this can be the worst decision because you will try to win your chips back with any hand and start to make bad decisions. About how to deal with tilt, it's easier when you start to accept that bad beats will happen almost everyday in poker.
