Well if it's not fun anymore or if you are losing more money than you think you should, then perhaps it would be a good thing. A break would help to regroup your thoughts and feelings and you could come back with renewed energy

If you have a long downswing, probably it's a good idea.

If you are not motivated as before or in a bad run, it's always good to take a break.

In my opinion, this should also be done, once a year I take a break for a month or two. And it helps me. This is also exactly when you go to the gym to train, there you also need to take a break once a year to restore the central nervous system

it's always good to take a break after a big loss, I took a break myself for months, now I'm back calmer.

It's your decision . If you feel you are tired or if you suffer from extensive tilt and bad variance , you should do what is best for you . Take done days , see how you feel . Other people also take a break to study more the game , maybe I should do this lol

I already took two breaks from the games, the first time it was because I was very addicted, I was losing more than I won, apart from the lost time and I didn't do anything else in my life. The second break it was because I imagined that I was in a rush of bad luck, every hand that came in I lost, all the time there were only bad cards, and when the good ones came I would lose, and when I left with AA KK and so on, I always lost, so I decided to take a break. Now I have more knowledge, I know how to play with low cards, fold up, I know how to bluff, let's say that the tide is made by us, but I feel that I'm addicted again, and although I'm playing well, I'm not getting a financial return.

If you are more irritated by a bad beat that affects your play then a good time to take a break from the tables.

When I had some time, I would watch how the pros played on twitch and I would realize several of my mistakes and you correct that with study, ability and knowledge are always imposed in the short or long term on bad luck and variance

I have taken many breaks over the years. Could be I was just burned out or was playing badly and needed to re set my mind. It's not a bad thing to take a break. I have and will take one many more times in my poker life.

We all need to rest and rethink the need to continue or not to improve our game, it all depends on what level you are currently at.

If you have to ask then the answer is yes.

Then when you come back you need to find a better life/poker balance so you can just play a certain amount each day/week/month so you don't suffer poker burn-out. That way you won't need another longer type break as it sounds like you could use a month or more off. We've all been there no shame in it.

Cheers!!!

Sometimes it's good to stop, reflect, to see if it's worth continuing the journey, in addition to seeing if you need to do something different.

Schedules are different: 3-2 (3 working days, 2 days off); 2-1; 4-2. Poker players have weekends, just like all people.
