Time check

Hello, could anyone explain the "time" used on here? I know ET is eastern but is that differant from EDT? Also Cardschat time, Carbon Poker is again differant. Then of course there is UK, GMT & BST I don't suppose who will use CET but there are a few members in Europe. I seem to be missing out on all this lovely money on offer. any help to a dafty who cannot tell the time would be nice, many thanks
