My opinion

I like to invest 100 dollars a site in acr, blackchip, betonline. sportsbetting and intertops. They have the cardchat tournaments for USA. They should get a 100 percent of the necessary money. You probably are not helping out the third world countries giving more then 100 percent. Then add the necessary smoke breaks and the drinks needed to play poker. It comes to about 800 dollars a month.

It is believed, that you need 10,000 hours of practice, that will allow you to master your skill in any business. But I believe, that you still have to have the natural ability to do the work that you have chosen.

It depends on your diligence, patience, desire and on what you are willing to sacrifice for this! The harder you work, the faster you can learn to do some work, be it poker or something else.) Do not be lazy and for a couple of years you can become a professional from a beginner, but again everything is arbitrary, maybe you have a predisposition and a talent for this cause and you will be able to learn how to win in six months ... Who knows?!:icon_stud:sleep::icon_stud

There is no way to determine how long an individual could be successful in poker. Everyone's definition of success differs as well as the learning curve. More resources you apply the quicker the curve becomes. How much time are you willing to devote?

Don't know, it seems to me that the number of hours is a measure not quite right! I've been playing for quite some time, but any success have not reached! And how to improve their game can't even imagine, I guess I have hours and 20 thousand for the development of poker! And someone after 2 thousand hours will win 100 thousand dollars!

Probably, a little more factors play a role here than we think)

Of course a person who tries systematically and wisely needs time to collect the fruits of his efforts. And this is the sweetest feeling!

Well, if you learn a lot of poker lessons or read books or go through a lot of training materials, it can take months or years to become a normal player and win money in poker, a lot depends on you and how quickly you want to learn all the useful materials and then play and win!

I'm not sure the 10k hours principle applies to poker. The rules of poker are pretty simple to understand, math is not too hard, hence why it's appealing to so many people. I think that having the right mix of character traits is more decisive to success in poker.

Open question

I don't think there is a rule to this as some people are natural players and others need to register the game for a long period of time.

You also have the different styles of games which some players don't ever play and others become highly gifted at.

I don't think there is a set rule to this answer.

Good luck at the tables!

I'm just trying to find my personality in poker.
