I don't know for sure but he is getting married but doubt he has quite. I think he is spending so much time in private Asian games along with Ivey he just isn't around the scene we see much

ive never been a fan of his really, but if he did its smart to stop while having a small fortune, and if hes set money wise whats really the point, I mean maybe play the wsop from time to time, but playing high stakes only puts you at risk with no reward after you have made it

This is a good point as usually from supernuts. What is the point of more marginal money when the risk of HS is devasting. The more money you get the less it matters.

I also really like his game as he behave in the cash game table I watched him play a lot on espn when he was a player Full tilt poker where I met online poker.

Until the USA market is opened completely I'm not sure we will see the consistent high stakes online as in the past weather it's FT or PS but boy were those fun games to watch

Tom Dwan was one of my favorite players, mostly because it was cool to watch someone that was your age make it huge in poker and beat up on older people who've been in the game a long time. He's deff a motivator. It is a shame if he did quit poker, but people move on sometimes. Especially with how much money he's made and lost and made again haha. I'm sure all he plays is games he's already staked for or put up for. I'm sure he has backers, tons of them. He's still young, maybe one day he'll return.

When I first started poker he was my idol. The way he plays is sick but I think, he's only human just like everyone else. Sometimes you need a break, some time off. You can't keep going all day at 200% man. I think he took some time off earlier just liek Phil Ivey did multiple times before.

I have never like him much either. He is a good player and all, but his face is just too punchable for me.

I have also wondered about those guys who play a lot of high stakes cash games. There is no way those guys are sticking to solid bankroll management--that would mean they all have around 50-100million in the bank, which I seriously doubt. Even those like Ivey who do likely have that much money did not start out with 100 million in their roll. If you win a tournament for 1 million, and that is 90% or more of your bankroll, why would you ever go risk so much of it in such a short period of time? That's what Jamie Gold did, and he had to sell his bracelet because of it.

I think a lot of those guys have an issue with gambling addiction, and they just have so much money coming in from who knows where that they can continue playing like that. Very few of them have the actual bankroll to play half or 1 million buy in cash games without risking a large percent of themselves in the process.
