Which top pros out there do you know of who tilt?
For many or most it never happens.
But Mike Matusow is one for sure who can tilt.
I've only just started watching poker on tv really so not an expert.
Is Phil Hellmuth ever tiltable when he is pissed?

I watch high stakes poker on gsn. A couple of seasons ago Daniel Negreanu was down a lot. He was on tilt. Losing almost every pot. The thing is, he kept raising it up and then he would fold on the flop, turn, or river. So I would say Daniel.

I dont think there is any player that never tilts.
There are more kinds of tilt then just a Matusow blow up kind.
Tilt is by definition any variation from your A game and no player can allways play there A game.
While i would think the top pros bring there A game more often then amatures since years of playing should have strengthen there mental state the reason there winning has probably more to do with that there B,C and D games are simply better then alot of players A game then that they never tilt.

Yea, I would say people like Harrington, Smith and alot of the older pro's seem to be a lock for keeping their composure under any circumstances.

I would say they all have tilt in them. Just my opinion though. The problem is most are not as entertaining as Phil and Mike when they lose it.

I tend to agree.

Barry Greenstein probably comes the closest, he's taken six-figure losses after getting his money in good a few times on HSP and not batted an eyelid.

FWIW though I don't think playing less than your A game because you're tired after a 12+ hour session is the same as tilting.

Watch some more High Stakes Poker - Negreanu may not tilt often, but it still happens. I think it's maybe Season 3 where he's just getting crushed hand after hand.

I think sometimes Phil pretended to be on tilt.At the end,he is not on tilt truly, but his opponents are led to be on tilt.

How about Phil Laak? Although he might be more famous for his personality and not his play, anyone know if he is a reg at the bellagio?

In interviews he's said the Commerce is his regular casino. He no doubt plays at Bellagio from time to time though.

There, I resisted the urge to say anything about 10-20... d'oh!

Then look at this. :)
daniel negreanu vs eric lindgren:

YouTube - daniel negreanu vs erick lindgren high stakes poker

I don't think that was a tilt. I think he thought the Eric was making a move base on the two previous hands where he got burned and he was being bullied to a fold. Worked great for Eric. Now if they show the next hand and there is angered loose abandonment play by DN, then, there is a case for tilt.

I havent seen Negreanu being so angry before. He had lost big pot before and I guess that affected his play. I think its tilt. There is a pair on the board, big chance of full house and stronger straight and he called allin...

Honey

I like it when Phil Hellmuth says to his wife in the stands, something like, "hey honey, the stupid idiot called me with this trash". Does the guy not realize how stupid it sounds to be doing this, oh well he's still a kick azz player.
Take care

I think he came close in that HU match with Vanessa Rousso(sp?)

He wasn't catching anything, and Rousso was raising alot.

He seemed to be getting pretty steamed.
